Who knows where we'll finish. It's not about how well the others do it's about how well we do and we've had a knack of picking up points. Who's to say it won't continue.

Looking forward to finding out.

Yeah agree that even top 6 is going to be tough unless some of the teams in Europe suffer some more injuries or fatigue takes a hold. But even Liverpool you would expect to come good again or at least better by season end? Everton and Leicester probably the ones with more chance of slipping up as they ( well definitely Everton ) dont really have the squad quality. Leicester have a better squad but like us rely on 2 or 3 players ( Maddison particularly).

I think we may well end up 7th or 8th but still an outstanding season and magnificent achievement if you think about where we were last year. And the fact that we have really only added Coufal and now Lingard as first team regulars.

That week or two in 4th spot was a good feeling and probably had us dreaming too much. The rich teams and their better squads that result from them being richer and getting into Europe, thus widening the gap as they get even more money for being in the European competitions, makes it almost what they call a glass ceiling for any team not currently in that top 6. Leicester and Tottenham are the poorer members of that group and they have a lot more than us. If we are to get up there regularly it will be built through the model Moyes has suggested. Young, hungry for success ( good attitude ) players as per the RB Liepzig model.

Fcking Tottenham fans will start appearing from under their rocks giving it large again no doubt :-( I had enjoyed our 9 point lead over them though however short lived.

No way we finish above Spurs.

Bale looking world class again.

6th place is the best we can do I think and that won’t be easy.

I saw some Bayern playing Dortmund the other day. As good as City are I think Bayern will tear them apart.

Lewondoski is probably the best player in the world at the moment. 37 goals in 33 games ffs!
madness

Benteke’s last goal was a cracking stoppage time volley to steal the points at Brighton about a week back.

I used to like Klopp at Dortmund - played the game the right way, got some amazing performance out of players and didn’t talk bollocks. Fast forward a few years and a couple of seasons in the Anfield job and he’s become a total cunt. He’ll end up at WHL.

Back in the day, Ken Aston might have been West Ham, he was headmaster of the Newbury Park Juniors a school above mine, he reffed the infamous Battle of Santiago, Chile v Italy. Was responsible for the black and white referees kit and and the red and yellow cards

D'Urso was a Spurs fan wasnt he?

If there was a West Ham supporting ref supposedly they wouldnt do our games.
Cant recall there ever being a ref who was excluded from our games
